Brookmade Photography was born from a love of editorial photography, old Hollywood romance, and photos of my grandparents when they were young. From there, I began documenting modern-day love stories, and creating images that are meant to be poured over for years to come. I believe you deserve to be fully present during the day of your dreams, and to have photos that let you relive your best moments over and over again.

BEHIND THE LENS
I’M BROOK - your photographer
As a seasoned photographer, I’ve found a deep love for creating images that have both a timeless comfort and an editorial vibe. I’m always looking for inspiration. For me, it’s living the good old days. It’s feel-good music, and dancing in the kitchen. It is impressionist paintings, all things French, and vintage photographs. It is fleeting moments bottled up in a photo to hold on to forever.
Off duty, you’ll find me scheming up my next home project. While I’m a certified homebody, I love the Columbus food scene and am always ready to try a new restaurant or have an overpriced cocktail at the newest rooftop bar.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was 14, and I never get bored of trying to find a fresh approach to storytelling. My background is in graphic design and I’ve always been a creative at heart. Wedding photography became a natural passion for me. Wedding days are filled to the brim with emotion and a true test in storytelling, but they lend so well to a bit of editorial styling. I’ll never take for granted what an honor it is to document some of the most important moments in peoples’ lives.
